Bontrager's NCS Fenders offer full coverage for riding in the rain and commuting all-winter long. They're made of a light and super-durable polycarbonate material and have rustproof stainless-steel struts and hardware. They come fully assembled and attach to your frame's eyelets in minutes. Plus, you don't have to remove your wheels. They also have no-cut struts that can easily be lengthened or shortened to perfect the tire clearance. You also get removable mudflaps front and rear for extra coverage and the rear fender is double-strutted for additional support. What's more, should you ever wear them out, the NCS Fenders are completely recyclable, too.

The product requires more than a 10 minute install quoted by some people. A quick install does not include removing the rear wheel as was recommended in the 'French' language installation instructions. I deflated the rear tire to get the lower hex screw through the fender and into the bike frame (by the kickstand) while having the other mounts loosely secured. Tightening the fender fender mount under the seat caused the mounted lower fender tongue to shatter in pieces. The rear fender is virtually unusable...so much for quality. Possibly using the second tongue screw hole furthest from the end of the fender tongue may have allowed enough strength for the polycarbonate material of the fender to 'not break'.
I bought Bontrager NCS Fenders for my FX with carbon fiber fork. Carbon forks have limited space and because of that most fenders either don't fit or the work around requires cutting and, or, zip ties. In a word, unacceptable. There is a method to attach the front fender without cutting it so that it has near perfect tolerances, nothing after market about it. With little or no adjustment the fenders fit as well as the fenders on the Trek Lync, a near perfect factory finish. So what's the gripe? Within days cracks developed everywhere. I was disappointed but I liked the look so much that I picked up a second set and started over. This time I tightened everything more lightly and used soft rubber washers between the connection points for shock absorption. The fit was spot so I know there was no load on the fender. Again, cracks developed out of nowhere, over night the the bottom of the rear fender shattered. Frankly they just cracked for no reason, no pressure nor impact, nothing. In the end, the ascetics, hardware and design are great but the material, the polycarbonate (hard plastic) is far, far, far too brittle.
These fenders work great! Very easy to install. Those other posts that say it does not fit disc brakes are wrong. All it takes is a little modification. The rear fender is a straight bolt on. The front just needs one 6mm X 1mm bolt. Then just bend the fender rods to fit the front fork. A 90 degree bend is all it takes.
Put these on 2014 Trek 7.2 FX. What I like: - Fairly easy to install and infinitely adjustable - Fender struts are strong enough to support the bike in a rack without messing up fender alignment - Good coverage in the wet What I don't like: - The pro of infinite adjustment on the struts give the overall appearance that these fenders are a "universal fit" design, it just makes them a bit ugly. - I used to be able to put my bike in my car trunk after removing the front wheel. No quick release option for the front fender means I need a different solution now.
Bought these to go on my 2015 Trek 520 Disc. They look like should fit but it is IMPOSSIBLE to fasten the stays on disc caliper side!!! At least not without a good deal of modification or some sort of adaptor which the instructions do not mention or show. I am not about to start bending and twisting the stay at this point, they are going back to my LBSand I will seek another product. One that actually FITS my bike!! I would have expected a Trek product to fit a Trek bike. So if you have disc brakes forget these fenders till their engineers redesign the stays.
I've had other fenders and they do OK, but these are by far very solid and need no adjustment after installation. With other fenders I've experienced tire rub due to flimsy materials. These fenders have larger gauge stays compared to others which I think is a key success factor.
